Terrazzo Project at Trinity University

Project details

The Trinity University Project was a two-year Restoration project at its San Antonio Texas Campus. The project comprised the installation of terrazzo flooring in the corridors and the stairwells of each of the buildings. The buildings of Chapman, Hallsel, and Dickie Hall each presented their own unique issues.

Andreola Terrazzo installed the corridors and restroom areas with epoxy terrazzo matching the architects’ custom blends for each building. The stair treads and risers were fabricated in the Andreola Terrazzo precast facility in Dallas, Texas and transported to the site in San Antonio Texas.

Andreola Terrazzo worked closely with the Turner Construction team to do the installations within the difficult scheduling of the Trinity School year. ATR is proud of this difficult installation and the resulting excellent terrazzo installation.

Andreola Terrazzo wishes to thank The Turner Construction Company and Lake/Flato Architects for including Andreola Terrazzo in this on-going modernization of the Trinity University Project.
