As Brock Andreola started Andreola Terrazzo & Restoration, he specialized in projects that were difficult to restore while gaining knowledge in the stone/terrazzo industries. This experience has evolved ATR into a company that is flexible in the terrazzo industry and can perform the most extensive and minor projects precisely. Terrazzo Flooring: DFW International Airport High, Gate C
Andreola Terrazzo completed the new DFW High C terminal, which is a prototype for the future remodel of terminals A & C. The terrazzo floor consisted of 18,000 sq feet of epoxy terrazzo installed in the DFW concourse and gate entrance areas. The epoxy terrazzo floor was designed using primarily white marble aggregate with gray marble and blue synthetic accents and borders. Utilizing diamond technologies to polish the terrazzo floor ATR brought it to a high finish. In addition, an intricate terrazzo starburst logo was installed, which consisted of white and gray marble aggregate with an inlay of various lengths and widths of zinc strip to form the architect’s original design.
Exterior & Interior Terrazzo Surfaces: Project at The Domain
The Domain project in Austin was a challenging exterior facade for the Westlake Dermatology Office consisting of 10-foot curvilinear-shaped panels. The office interior and exterior were designed incorporating palladian-type large aggregates in extra thick cement to accommodate larger marble pieces. For the exterior, sixteen custom-made ten-foot panels were manufactured in the Andreola precast plant in Dallas, Texas, and transported and installed on site. The curved wall appearance is a unique design element and is now a signature exterior design element for the company. In addition, a matching cement and aggregate bench was pre-cast and constructed as pedestrian seating adjacent to the office exterior entrance.
Terrazzo Benches: San Antonio Riverwalk
Part of the San Antonio Riverwalk, the San Pedro Creek Culture Park is an area where local culture is celebrated. Andreola Terrazzo & Restoration was contracted to add to this historical park by creating unique benches of blue-green terrazzo. Ten benches ranging from 20 to 50 feet in length and one consisting of over 500 sq feet were fabricated in ATR’s Dallas, Texas precast plant, transported to the San Antonio job site, and installed. The benches utilized aggregates of blue, green, and yellow, complementing the riverside location for pedestrians to enjoy.

After receiving a degree in business from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1978, Dallas-native, Italian descendant, Brock Andreola wasted no time establishing his first venture specializing in marble and tile installation. Since then, the company has developed to restore stone, marble, and granite. Brock Andreola’s expertise in this area contributed to many large-scale projects in Texas and surrounding areas. Before the turn of the century, Andreola Terrazzo & Restoration was beginning complete terrazzo installations, and within the next year, large-scale projects for public schools, hospitals, airports, and federal buildings were in full swing. A Precast Plant was formed to maintain project control from beginning to end. With this evolution came the ability to create perfect custom logos and emblems. Andreola Terrazzo & Restoration also provides high-end residential applications and concrete polishing services.
