The UTD Naveen Jindal School of Management is a project that utilized a straight concrete exposed aggregate treatment. Andreola Terrazzo & Restoration was contracted by HC Beck General contractors to bring the existing concrete floor to look as close to a terrazzo installation as possible. By using a technique of deep grinding technology we were able to expose the aggregate within the cement to closely resemble a large aggregate terrazzo floor. We highly polished and hardened the concrete surface to withstand a heavily utilized pedestrian walking surface. This type of cement installation and treatment is becoming widely popular for high traffic areas in all types of construction.
